Model
A three-dimensional representation of a person or thing or of a proposed structure, typically on a smaller scale than the original.
Simulation
The action of pretending; deception.
Gravity
The force that attracts a body toward the center of the earth, or toward any other physical body having mass.
Gravitational Force
The force of attraction between all masses in the universe; especially the attraction of the earth’s mass for bodies near its surface
Solar System
The collection of eight planets and their moons in orbit around the sun, together with smaller bodies in the form of asteroids, meteoroids, and comets.
Galaxy
A system of millions or billions of stars, together with gas and dust, held together by gravitational attraction.
Milky Way Galaxy
The galaxy of which the sun and the solar system are a part and which contains the myriads of stars that create the light of the Milky Way.
Sun
The star around which the earth orbits.
Planets
A celestial body moving in an elliptical orbit around a star.
Moons
The natural satellite of the earth, visible (chiefly at night) by reflected light from the sun.
Asteroid
Small rocky body orbiting the sun.
Asteroid Belt
The region of space between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter in which most asteroids are located.
Stars
A fixed luminous point in the night sky which is a large, remote incandescent body like the sun.
Celestial Bodies
A natural object which is located outside of Earth’s atmosphere, such as the Moon, the Sun, an asteroid, planet, or star.
Elliptical Orbit
The revolving of one object around another in an oval-shaped path called an ellipse.
