What is a chemical change?
A change in one or more substances, caused by a reaction, that forms new and different substances.
What is a conservation of matter?
Alaw that states that matter cannot be made or destroyed; however, matter can change into a new form.
What is gas?
The state of matter that does not have a definite shape or volume.
What is liquid?
A form of matter that has a volume that stays the same but has a shape that can change.
What is matter?
Anything that takes up space.
What is mixture?
A combination of two or more different substances in which the substances keep their identities.
What is a physical change?
A change in which the shape or form of the substance changes but the substance still has the same physical makeup.
What is a solid?
The state of matter that has a definite shape and a definite volume.
What is a solubility?
How much of a substance will dissolve in a given amount of a different substance.
What is a solution?
A mixture that has the same composition throughout because all its parts are mixed evenly.
