A space station decides to make a slingshot that can both shoot bouncy balls at incoming ships and catch them after they rebound. They decide to test it on a ship that’s approaching the station at 200 km/h.
The slingshot can catch balls returning at speeds up to 500 km/h. Any faster and it will break the slingshot.
