Holds the baby in place during pregnancy.
What are cilia?
Small hairs in the fallopian tube put in place to help sweep the egg cell into the uterus/ womb.
What does day 4 or stage two of menstruation involve?
The lining of the uterus builds up, it is getting ready for implantation.

The testis.

Where the semen/ sperm cells leave the body - a small tube in the penis

Bleeding starts as the lining of the uterus breaks down and passes out though the vagina. “Having a period”

A skin in which the testis hang in.

Through the oviduct with the help of the cilia to help sweep the egg towards the uterus.

What does day 14 or stage 3 of menstruation involve?
Ovulation. An egg is released from an ovary, this is the most likely time to get pregnant.
What is the function of the ovaries?
Where the egg cells are stored and released from.
What does day 28 or stage 4 of menstruation involve?
The wall remains thick waiting for a fertilized egg, if this doesn’t happen then the lining breaks down and passes out of the vagina. Then the cycle starts again.
