A brief overview of the research
What are the 4 questions that should be addressed in an abstract?
Concisely and briefly state:

2. How was the research conducted
3. What were the findings
4. Why should we care
What is the main purpose of the aim?
The purpose of the experiment
What grammar convention must be used in the introduction?
Present tense to describe established knowledge, use past tense to address specific studies

Results should not interpret the results, only describe patterns and outliers
