What are the 3 objective lenses?
Low-power, Scanning mode, and high-power objective lenses
How much is the low-power objective lens?
10 x 10X = 100X
** Remember, 10X is the eyepiece
How much is the high-power objective lens?
40 x 10X = 400X
** Remember, 10X is the eyepiece
How much is the Scanning mode objective lens?
4 x 10X = 40X

Stage
Place to hold glass slides (your specimen)
Stage clips
Moves the stage forward, backwards, left, and right. Also holds the glass slide in place
Diaphram
Controls the amount of light
Coarse adjustment
For adjusting the stage (up and down)
Fine adjustment
Adjusts the clarity of the lens
Light source
The light bulb at the bottom
