Holds the eyepiece in place.
Draw Tube or Ocular Tube
Connects the eyepiece to the revolving nosepiece.
Body Tube
Holds and turns the objective into viewing position.
Revolving Nosepiece
Contains the lens with most magnification.
High-power Objective
Contains the lens with low-power magnification.
Low-power Objective
Focuses the image under the low-power objecive.
Coarse Adjustment Knob
Sharpens the image under high and low magnification.
Fine Adjustment Knob
Supports the microscope slide.
Stage
Hold the microscope slide in place.
Stage Clip
Supports the body tube.
Arm
Regulates the amount of light entering the body tube.
Iris Diaphragm
Collects light from the surrounding and allows light to reflect upward.
Mirror
Tilts the microscope.
Inclination Joint
Connects the base to the arm.
Pillar
