What is a system?
A system is a group of things and people that work together to make up something.
What is a cell?
A cell is the smallest unit that can live by it’s one, it has 3 parts: the cell membrane, the nucleus and the cytoplasm.
What is the cell membrane?
The cell membrane surrounds the cell and controls the suptans that go into the cell.
What is the job of the circulatory system?
To fight diseases, helps maintain normal temperature and helps tissues get nutrients and gets rid of waste.
What are the 4 major components of the circulatory system?
The heart, arteries, veins and blood.
What are arteries for?
Arteries transport oxygenated away from the heart (to all the body).
What are veins for?
Transport (not oxygenated blood) to the heart.
What do blood transport?
Oxygen, nutrients, hormones and antibodies.
