What is the purpose of the cell membrane?
To provide an external boundary and be a gatekeeper
What is the jellylike substance inside the cell membrane?
Cytoplasm
What are organelles?
Organelles are the structures inside the cytoplasm that help carry out cell functions
What is DNA?
DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid is a set of instructions that specifies the inherited traits of an organism
Why is DNA important?
DNA is in virtually every living cell, self replicates, and has all the instructions for an organism to grow, reproduce and function.
