What is scientific truth based on?

A

Scientific truth is based upon a hypothesis, which is then tested and the results observed, until there is said to be enough evidence that the theory can be proven.

What is religious truth based on?

A

Religious truth is based primarily on belief and truth. However religious people may and often do use reason to arrive at the truth too. Religious truths come from scripture, religious experiences or teachings of leaders.
