Horizontal lines going around earth, from east to west, lines are north of equator or south of the equator.

vertical lines running east and west from prime meridian to the international line prime meridian=0 degrees
Rotation
Earth spinning around its tilted axis.
Revolution
The motion of earth revolving around the sun, it takes 365.25 days to make a full revelution
Coriolis Effect
wind and ocean currents bending
New Moon
When the moon is between the sun and the earth and it is completely dark
Gibbous
Most of the moon is lit up.
Crescent
a sliver of the moon is lit up
Waxing
Getting bigger, (Think MAXING).
