Sci lesson 2 Flashcards
The work we do to process (and reprocess) emotions, situations, reactions, circumstances, and more over time so that our considerations can be incorporated moving forward
reflection
it refers to the ability of a surface to bounce back light or sound waves that hit it.
reflection
are designed to reflect light in a way that produces a clear and accurate image of the objects in front of them.
Mirrors
2 properties of light
reflection
refraction
bouncing back of light in the same medium on striking the surface of any Object.
reflection
The angle of the reflected ray equals the angle of the incident ray, with respect to normal.
The incident ray, reflected ray, and normal all lie in the same plane.
The incident and reflected ray are on ? sides of the normal.
Law of Reflection
opposite
Light is diffused when it reflects from a ? surface
rough
2 types of reflection
regular reflection
diffuse reflection
A mirror illuminated by many parallel rays reflects them in only one direction since its surface is very smooth. Only the observer at a particular angle will see the reflected light.
regular reflection
This is like any surface that we can see but does not reflect an image
diffuse reflection
is spread out when it is reflected by the lake, since the surface is shiny but uneven.
Moonlight
type pf mirrors
plane
convex
concave
A mirror with a flat surface

Left-Right Reversal
ex: the word ambulance written kn reverse order but the word ambulance viwwd in the correct order in the rearview mirror
Lateral Inversion
