A

Example: someone firmly believing someone took their organs out with no stitches or proof on incisions

What is required in the (1) prodromal phase?

A
  • Deterioration in functioning
  • May include negative symptoms
  • Attenuated psychotic symptoms (e.g., not hallucinating, but you may really believe that that announcer may have had a message for you. Not delusions but ALMOST delusional)
  • In children/ adolescents, they may stop maturing and not meet their developmental milestones
