- hallucinations (sensory with no reality)
- delusions (belief without reality)

deficits in normal experience: - abolition (loss of motivation) speech poverty (affects frequency and quality\)

- one diagnose 26 with DSM AND 44 with ICD - and the other 13 with DSM and 24 with ICD
- shows bad inter rater reliability
