Authentic Faith
Characteristics of Christian Faith:
persons who responds in faith must respond fully, no excuses, no ifs and buts. This total and unconditional commitment is manifested by Jesus Christ especially in His Passion, Death and Resurrection.
Total and absolute
Characteristics of Christian Faith:
adherence to the Triune God revealed through Jesus Christ our lord, it entails a personal relationship with Him, through Him and to the Father. A decision to commit oneself to Him and to follow His ways
Faith is trinitarian
Characteristics of Christian Faith:
because it that drives us to share the good news of God’s salvation with others . It impels us to mission and evangelize
Faith is missionary
Characteristics of Christian Faith:
accept the challenge of being a missionary. A faith that remains in the level of infancy cannot face up to the challenges of spreading God’s word. It must mature into a dynamic, living and life-giving.
Mature faith
Characteristics of Christian Faith:
means a faith that is transmitted and expressed through our culture or cultures. As a people, we possess particular ways of thinking, feeling and behaving.
Inculturated faith
Characteristics of Christian Faith:
helps us to attain “fuller life”
Christian faith
Three basic values undergird this “fuller Life”

- Spiritual joy
assuming responsibilities that go with believing and loving.

frees us from the clutches of sin, gives us courage to say no to the many enticements that enslave us.
