Antigone
What news does the messenger bring during the exodus?
The messenger tells the Chorus and Eurydice (Creon’s wife) that Haimon has killed himself after finding Antigone dead.
How did Antigone die?
She hanged herself in the tomb where she was imprisoned.
What was Haimon’s reaction to Antigone’s death?
He tried to kill Creon, failed, and then took his own life out of grief and anger.
What happened to Eurydice after hearing about Haimon’s death?
