Anterior: flexion & IR
Middle: abduction
Posterior: extension, ER, horizontal extension

Axillary n. (C5-6)
Supraspinatus (attachments)
From the medial 2/3 of supraspinous fossa to the superior facet of greater tubercle of humerus & shoulder joint capsule
Supraspinatus (actions)
Initiates humeral abduction & laterally rotates humerus; stabilizes GH joint (reinforces superior aspect of joint capsule)
Supraspinatus (innervation)
Suprascapular n. (C4-6)
Infraspinatus (attachments)
From the medial 2/3 of infraspinous fossa to the middle facet of the greater tubercle of humerus & to shoulder joint capsule
Infraspinatus (actions)
ER of humerus; stabilizes GH joint

Suprascapular n. (C5-6)
Teres Minor (attachments)
From upper 2/3 of dorsal surface of lateral border of scapula to inferior facet of greater tubercle of humerus & to shoulder joint capsule
