from outer surfaces of ribs 3-5 to coracoid process
rhomboids
-major: from spinous processes T2-5 to medial border of scapula
-minor: from ligamentum nuchae and spinous processes C7-T1 to medial border of scapula
serratus anterior
from outer surfaces and superior borders of upper 8-10 ribs to costal surface of the medial border of the scapula
subclavius
from 1st rib and cartilage to the undersurface of the clavicle
trapezius
from superior nuchal line, external occipital protuberance, ligamentum nuchae, and cervical and thoracic spinous processes to the clavicle, acromion, and scapular spine
deltoid
from clavicle, acromion, and spine of scapula to deltoid tuberosity of the humerus
supraspinatus
from medial 2/3 of supraspinous fossa to the superior facet of the greater tubercle of the humerus and to shoulder joint capsule
infraspinatus
from medial 2/3 of infraspinous fossa to middle facet of the greater tubercle of the humerus and to shoulder joint capsule
teres minor
from upper 2/3 of the dorsal surface of lateral border of scapula to inferior facet of the greater tubercle of the humerus and to shoulder joint capsule
subscapularis
from subscapular fossa to the lesser tubercle of the humerus
