O: anterior surface of ribs 3,4,5
I: coracoid process
A: depression, raise ribs in inspiration
N: medial pectoral
Levator scapulae
O: transverse process of C1-C4
I: superior, medial border of scapula
A: elevates scapula, bends neck laterally
N: dorsal scapular
Trapezius
O: medial superior nuchal line and occipital bone, ligament up nuchae and spinous process of C7-T12
I: lateral clavicle, acromion and spine of scapula
A: elevate and upward rotation of scapula, retraction, depress(lower fibres)
N: accessory cranial nerve
Serratus anterior
O: anterior surface of first 8 ribs
I: anterior surface of medial border of scapula
A: protraction, upward rotation
N: long thoracic nerve
Rhomboid Major
O: spinous process T2-T5
I: medial border of scapula
A: retraction, elevation
N: dorsal scapular
Rhomboid minor
O: spinous process C7-T1
I: medial border of scapula, superior to spine
A: retraction and elevation
N: dorsal scapular nerve
