Drawing or planing to scale
What does it mean to draw to scale? (2)
It is when a THING or PLACE is drawn SMALLER and CORRECTLY.
Does drawing to scale mean that you can draw something almost to size or exactly to size? (1)
EXACTLY to size
If a boy is 75cm tall and he is drawn at a height of 7,5cm, what would the scale of the drawing be in relation to his actual height? (1)

Photographs also show scale. You can write a scale in words or you cab show scale as a diagram called a? (1)
Line scale
A map has a scale of 1:25000.
This means that 1 cm on the map is 25000 cm in real life, which is 250 m or 0.25 km.
What will the real distance be for 4cm on the map? (1)
The distance will be 1 kilometer
Look at the map. The line scale is 1:3000 which means that 1cm on the map is 3000cm or 30m in real life. 5cm reprsents a distance of 150m
