Q

Dorsal column pathway

A

Sensory:
Conscious touch and proprioception

  1. Touch/proprioception info from limbs enters SC
  2. Ascends in dorsal column to ipsilateral medulla
  3. Synapse in medulla
  4. Crosses spinal cord and ascends in medial lemniscus to contralateral thalamus
  5. Synapse in thalamus
  6. Ascends to cortex
