A

Where every member of the sampling frame has an equal chance of being selected, e.g. hat draw.

What is quasi-random sampling?

A

Selecting people in a sequence, e.g. selection every 10th person in the list.

What is stratified sampling?

A

When the population is broken down by different demographics and is created in the same proportions. e.g. if 20% of the population are under 16, 20% of the sample have to be under 16.

A

Using a stratified sample then getting a quota to fill the spaces in the sample.
