Clinical features

A
  • Usually asymptomatic mass
  • Pain or facial paralysis
  • Ulceration
  • Often fixed to skin or deep tissues
  • Palatal lesions often ulcerated and involve bone
  • Cervical lymph node metastases in 23%, distant metastases in 37%
