Solid slats inserted into pockets along a sails leech to help maintain its shape

The primary line that adjusts the sail trim, usually referred to with the sail it adjusts ( like mainsheet )

The angle of the sail to the wind

The front of a boat
Stern
The back of a boat
Forward
The direction toward the bow
Aft
The direction toward the stern
Port
Left ( when you’re facing forward )
Starboard
Right ( when you’re facing forward )
