Cold Pressed

A

A method of extraction for oils, also referred to as cold expression. The best carrier oils are cold pressed because of the absence of excessive heat in the extraction process. Traditionally, seeds, nuts and fruits were hand pressed under very low temperatures to extract oils. Modern cold pressed oil is produced through a combination of grinding and low heat.
