Procedures for INFORMATION phase
1. Fd emergency call : thru interphone, PA attendant call (6 chimes) •Nature and cause of emer •time available for prep •necessary special instructions, synchronize Watches
- SCC’s crew briefing; CC confirms the information
- (Emergency preparation speech) Pax briefing at demo station
Steps for PREPARATION
- SRI- select, reseat, instruct A-pax by all main CA’s
- CABIN PREPARATION
• CA2/all steward galley preparations
• CA3/ LH side CA’s- INFANT/CHLD
• CA4/RH side CA’s- less agile passengers - CC PERSONAL PREP
• remove sharp/ loose objects from clothes
• loosen tight clothing
• prepare provides in a blanket and stow
Near exits.
• Have flashlights ready - Final cabin check - report CABIN CREW
Steps for LANDING PHASE
- Emergency Stations
- Dim cabin lights
- occupy emergency stations
- Fasten seatbelt And harness
- bracing position
Steps Evacuation phase
- “BRACE FOR IMPACT”!!
OR
“Continuous flashing” of seatbelt sign.
A-PAX main duties: General instruction
- Wait for the a/c to come to a full stop, and wait for command EVACUATE A/C before proceeding with assigned duties
- If exit is •blocked/jammed
• fails to deploy or inflate
• outside condition unsafe
=BLOCKED and REDIRECT - If safe: • open seatbelt
• stand up
• hold back passengers
• exit first and assist evacuation
• gather everyone away from aircraft - Be ready to assume an incapacitated CA’s emergency duties.

“Cabin Crew, proceed with precautionary disembarkation. Open doors_______”
Action: BOSCH
- Check outside condition
- Open designated Doors
* Avoid manner of urgency in giving commands.
Command from FD AND ACTION on Emergency Evacuation
“EVACUATE AIRCRAFT”
Action:
Emergency opening of doors– 90 seconds Evacuation
Action when Captain command emergency stations for terrain planned:
Action: proceed to emergency stations; fasten seatbelt and harness; SCC dims cabin light
Captain command “Brace for Impact” or continuous flashing of seatbelt sign
ACTION:
“EMERGENCY BEND DOWN” both terrain and water
Action when Captain command emergency stations for terrain unplanned:
Action: proceed to emergency stations; fasten seatbelt and harness; SCC dims cabin light
Action when Captain command emergency stations for Water planned:
Action: proceed to emergency stations; fasten seatbelt and harness; SCC dims cabin light
