Q

How does a vent limiting orifice function ?

A

To allow equal limits of inhalation and escape air from the upper diaphragm chamber.

If diaphragm does rupture leakage is limited to 1cfh

Q

How does an automatic safety vent limiting device operate ?

A

Gives sensitive respond even at low pressure

Ball check permits inhalation of the regulator for fast diaphragm regulator response

Q

How does a safety relief valve work ?

A

Special seats located at the diaphragm and linkage connection

Seat will open allowing gas to pass out of regulator through vent if downstream pressure too high
