what is included in UN convention on Rights of the child 1989
- human rights treaty

serious crime act 2015 on FGM
professional must report to the police if:
- informed by girl under 18yo that an act of FGM has been carried out or
- observe physical signs which appear to show that an act of FGM has been carried out on a girl under 18yo
