candle near the tabernacle that is lit when Jesus in present in the Tabernacle

table in front of the church to hold items used during the Mass
Credence table
table in back of the nave that holds the gifts (bread, wine, water, money collected)
Offertory Table
Container that looks like a sun burst with a glass center. The back of it has a small door. The inside holds a glass container called the Luna. The priest puts a consecrated host in the Luna, and places the Luna in the Monstrance. The Monstrance is then placed on the Altar for Benediction or Adoration (Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament)

A metal container with/or without a lid used to store consecrated hosts in the tabernacle, or distribute The Holy Eucharist.
Ciborium
white sacred linen cloth that is placed on top of the chalice. During the consecration of the Eucharist, the cloth is placed on the table. It catches any particles of the Body of Christ that may fall. The cloth is carefully folded in 9 equal squares to hold any particles of the Body of Christ so that they may be properly and sacredly disposed.
Corporal
The metal cup (either gold or silver) used to hold the wine that will be consecrated and distributed to the assembly at Mass.
Chalice
A long narrow piece of folded cloth, which sometimes has a small cross sewn on. It is used by the priest and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion to wipe the chalice after a person takes a drink from it.
Purificator
The plate used to hold the large host which will become the consecrated body of Jesus.
Paten
A piece of cardboard or plastic which is covered by linen and used to cover the chalice.
pall
the book containing the prayers, chants, and instructions for the celebration of the Mass.
Roman missle
The book which contains the Scripture readings.
Lectionary
smaller book that the congregation uses to follow along with the Mass
Missalette
The raised area in the front of the church. It is considered a holy and special area because this is where the sacrifice of the Mass is offered and where the word of God is read. It should be approached with great respect.
Sanctuary
central part of the church, extending from the entrance to the sanctuary; where the congregation sits
Nave
The room where the priests, altar servers, and other ministers prepare for the Mass.
Sacristy
The bread that will become the Eucharist.
Host
covered bowl or cup made of crystal or glass; on the side of the tabernacle; contains water which is used by the priest, deacon or extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist to wash their fingers after distributing Communion.
Ablution Cup
The tall candle which is blessed and used during the Easter season, baptisms, and funerals.
Paschal Candle
a sprinkler, usually looks like a ball on a handle. The priest puts it in a container of Holy Water, so that water will get inside it through little holes. The priest then walks through the church and blesses everyone by sprinkling them using the Aspergillum. This is used on special celebrations, usually during the Easter season.
Aspergillum
The metal container that holds the incense that is burned during special occasions. It has a top with air vents and a long chain so that it can be carried. Incense is scooped out of the incense boat and sprinkled on the hot coals in the center. When the incense is burned, it makes smoke.

Rung during the consecration of the Mass
Bells
The small metal container which is used to hold consecrated host(s) when visiting the sick or homebound.
Pyx
A long white robe worn by the priest and altar servers.
Alb
A cord made of silk or cotton with tassels on the ends. It is used around the waist to secure the alb so that it will not interfere with walking.
Cinture
A long strip of cloth worn by the priest around his neck and shoulders.
Stole
Colored vestment worn only by the priest.
