can influence the type of activity a person has access to
Positive - A person of high SES who may have brand-new surfboard and full-length wetsuit could surf all year round
Negative - person of low SES who may have to borrow and old surfboard and only has a pair of board shorts, so they can only enjoy surfing in warm weather
