Q

Describe what central tendency, univariate analysis, and graphic use for nominal/ordinal/scale questions.

A
  1. Central tendency
    Nominal: Mode
    Ordinal: Mode + Median
Scale: Mode + Median + Mean
  2. Univariate analysis
    Nominal: Frequencies
    Ordinal: Frequencies
    Scale: Frequencies + Descriptives
  3. Graphic
Nominal: Pie chart + Bar chart
Ordinal: Pie chart + Bar chart
    Scale: Histogram + Boxplot

Q

How to do a frequencies test?

A

Analyze -> Descriptive -> Frequencies -> Put variable that we want to analyze

Modification:
Statistics: Select the appropriate central tendency (mode, median, or mean)
Charts: Select the appropriate chart (Pie chart, Bar chart or histogram / boxplot)

Q

How to do a frequencies test? How to analyze it?

A

Analyze -> Descriptives -> Descriptives

Modifications
Options: Choose the type of analysis (mean or sum) depending on the type of question. Select Std deviation, Minimum and Maximum.

To be able to really analyze the result, we then have to do a frequencies test.
