- numbness and pain of anterolateral thigh
- from compression of lateral femoral cutaneous nerve
- pelvic compression test will relive Sx w/in 30secs
- tx: NSAID, wt loss, physio, TCA

mononeuritis multiplex
A
- multiple peripheral nerves invovled with weakness, paresthesias, numbness, aches, spasms
- Sx progress over mins/days and resolve over weeks/months
- DM most common cause but also vasculitides, infxs (lyme), neoplasm, SLE, sjogrens, RA, sarcoid, lead
