S1 Role

S1 handles updates to records, pay issues, orders for when Soldier move, deploy, or go to a temporary assignment, and make sure head counts are up for who should be where.

2 handles security clearances and provides information about the battle scape, to include weather, news reports, and anything pertinent to the mission.

S3 organizes and plans for missions with higher level commanders- they function as a bit of a mouthpiece to give direction to lower level units about what needs to be done, how, and when. They also help Soldiers in a unit get slots for their needed military professional schooling, track training requirements, and delegate tasks.
