Historical Context of Sources 1 &2
(1)- Depth and breadth of knowledge of the period

> identify what is happening at the time e.g. time of change, turmoil, war, prosperity
Compare and Contrast the messages conveyed in Source 1 & Source 2

(1-2) Points of comparison of the messages
(1-2) Points of contrast in the messages
>The extent of differences or similarities

Examine the issues involved in interpreting the historical evidence of Sources 1 &2.

Using your knowledge of the whole period of study, evaluate the importance of the ideas and/ or events represented in the two sources

(1-2) Placement of the ideas/ events with the ideas/event of a broader historical context of the time. Demonstrate a depth and breadth of knowledge of the relevant time period
(1-2) Evaluation of the importance of ideas/ events in relation to those of the broader historical historical context

>Historical context- did it happen (if event) after years of turmoil
> why are they important- long term affect, change, short term, affect all of Russia or just a certain group
> whether there were other more important issues/ events 20% of answer
