why did it happen

A

Russia was under the dictatorship of the Tsar’s and the Russian’s were exploited by superior positions of society and most of them were living a poor life in starvation.
Russia was doing really badly at war they lost a lot of men and the Russian’s were sick of this.
Vladimir Lenin was the leader of the Bolsheviks party- the is was a communist party who lead the revolution.

what happened to the Tsar’s

A

they were taken to Yekaterinburg on July 17, 1918 were they were murdered by Cheka, the Bolshevik secret police.

why did the Russian revolution worry certain European countries

A

they worried that other countries would be influenced

main people who worried were: ruling classes, Churches, middle class, European Monarchies (because the Tsar’s were brutally killed same could happen to them).
Also, Russia dropped out of war- other countries could become influenced to do the same, but that would lead to more problems.

why did did communism not actually work in russia

A

after Lenin was shot Joseph Stalin rose to become the leader of the USSR, which was meant to be a communist party,
however Stalin took advantage of his position and appointed himself dictator of Russia.
