What is Deductive Reasoning?

a form of reasoning that one attempts to show conclusions falls necessary from the premises

What is inductive reasoning?
A
a form of reasoning which one takes the premises to provide some degree of support for the conclusion
every object that i have ever dropped falls to the ground, yet it could be false: coffee mug vs helium balloon

Accordign to Hume’s fork the objects of uman reasoning can be divided into two kinds:

- Relation of ideas (math, geometry, logic)
- matters of fact (using expressions in the way we simply dont anymore, matters regarding the way the world is)
