A

What is inductive reasoning?

A

a form of reasoning which one takes the premises to provide some degree of support for the conclusion

every object that i have ever dropped falls to the ground, yet it could be false: coffee mug vs helium balloon

Accordign to Hume’s fork the objects of uman reasoning can be divided into two kinds:

  1. Relation of ideas (math, geometry, logic)
  2. matters of fact (using expressions in the way we simply dont anymore, matters regarding the way the world is)
