The Self - REVERSED
Mannaz REVERSED: If you feel blocked - be clear with yourself, facing up, admitting, releasing, whatever it takes. Do not turn to others now, look inside. Do not give yourself Airs; Breaking the momentum of past habits is the challenge here. Life of Spirit - always at beginning.
The Self - Upright
Mannaz- starting point is self. Essence is water. Only Clarity, willingness to change, is effective now. Correct relationship to yourself is primary. Remain Modest. Be in the world but not of it. Energy of balance. Caution against carelessness. Remember at all times what is coming to be & passing away, & focus on what abides. (Live in the present) Time of major growth & rectification, rectification (to set right) must come before progress. No time to seek credit for accomplishments or to focus on results. Do the task for the tasks sake. Problem for those whose eyes are always on the goal. Cut down the middle - you get the Rune of Joy - mirror image. Self is required to balance the self. Nothing in excess. Know thyself.
Partnership - Upright
Gebo- Indication that union, uniting or partnership in some form is at hand. Don’t collapse into this union. True union achieved by separate, whole beings. Winds of Heaven dance between you.
Partnership - REVERSED
Gebo REVERSED- There is no reverse. Signifies the gift of freedom from which flow all other gifts.
