Serving temporarily in a position in which the member is not ordinarily assigned, usually in a position of higher rank.

Any violation of Rules and Regulations, Guidelines, or by request of a
member causing a reduction in the classification of an employee.

A level of knowledge that is broad and not specific or detailed.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE
A general order shall be defined as a directive from the Fire Chief, Executive Assistant or Assistant Chief that regulates or determines the policies, procedure, operations or activities of the department, its divisions and members.

The failure or deliberate refusal of any member to obey any lawful order given by any superior officer shall be deemed insubordination.
