A

make the adjective feminine and add ‘ment’

But this is a general rule there are exceptions and it is necessary to learn the exceptions

A

Don’t change it unless it ends in ‘é’ in which case add an extra ‘e’ e.g. une vie cachée

A

Verbs conjugated with avoir do not agree with the subject of the sentence EXCEPT when there is a PDO
NB: PDO can be a pronoun or can lurk in ques. form

A

They agree in number and gender with the subject of the sentence (there can be no PDO with an être verb)

How to make the present participle (goes with ‘en’ meaning “while”, “by”, or “on”)

A

Take “nous” line of the present tense, delete ‘ons’ ending and add “ant”

NB” persent tense of ‘ir’ verbs always have a double ‘ss’ in the endings.
