What makes a good fit of a rug?
Comfortable over the weathers, sufficient space over the shoulders, sufficient depth covering the belly crossover straps are adjusted correctly with a hand, wet between the belly and straps length covering the back to the top of the tail

On a horse that is not fully clipped, possibly just has a trace clip or a bib
When is a lightweight turnout rug with no not cover used?
Used as a rain sheet to help keep the horse clean
Describe the steps of putting on a rug
One securely tie up the horse.
Two place the rug over the horses withers
three fasten the front strap
Four unfold the rug
five secure the middle straps, crossing them underneath the horses stomach six fasten the leg straps and pull the tail over the fillet string.

Tough non-waterproof, durable, duvet, like filling, some have tail flaps
