What effect does a conjunction at the start of a sentence have?
Draws attention to the change in direction or the addition of another point.
What is repetition used to do?
To emphasise/ for emphasis
What does a climactic sentence do?
Builds up to a conclusion or main point.
Builds tension and drama
What is a minor sentence for?
A sentence without a verb. Often shocking, dramatic or impactful
