A

What are the requirements to conduct an IFR flight and approach?

A

3 instrument approaches within the last 90 days in an aircraft or sim
Have done the type of approach in the last 90 days i.e 2d, 3d, azimuth and CDI.
For circling, need to have done a circling approach in the cyclic training within the last 12 months

Requirements to conduct a line flight?

A

3 line flights within the last 35 days

Or 3 take offs and landings within the previous 90 days and 1 surveillance flight within the previous 35 days

Or an RSC within the previous 60 days.

Note the 2nd and 3rd points require HTT or CP approval.

A

Cloud ceiling 0ft
Vis 550m providing there is runway edge lighting not more than 60m apart and runway centreline lighting or markings. If CTAF R, day only.
If the above are not met Vis requirement is 800m
Also consider if taking off into poor conditions that are below landing minima, where will you go if there is a problem.

What are the aerodrome lighting requirements at night?

A

Electric with standby and not pal no alternate required
If pal or portable, a responsible person is required, otherwise an alternate is required.
You could hold til BOD plus 10 if possible
The alternate need not have standby power or a responsible person, but if pal, you need 2 VHF radios, or 1 HF and 1 VHF plus 30 min holding.
