The Seven Sacraments
- Entrance into the church
- can’t receive other sacraments without this
The Sacrament of Baptism
- lead us closer to Christ
- empower us to fulfill our mission at home, community, church & the world
The Sacraments of Christian Initiation
-The only one of the 3 that we can receive many times
- we consume the blood and body of Christ which leads us closer to Christ
- completes the Sacrament of Initiation, provides spiritual nourishment to the soul
The Sacrament of Eucharist
-the perfection of Baptism
-gives us grace to live Christian life boldly
The Sacrament of Confirmation
-Restoring our graced relationships of love and friendship with God and with our neighbors
The Sacrament of Reconciliation
-saves us from our sins
-helps us to ask for forgiveness
The Sacraments of Healing
-provides the sick with Christ’s healing grace of the Holy Spirit through laying of hands, the prayer of faith, and anointing with blessed oil
The Anointing of the Sick
call recipients to minister, drawing all persons to life in Christ

means “God saves.”

the likeness of Christ by making
them share in God’s own love and
faithfulness through the power of
the Holy Spirit.
