ASA use
Age 50-59 with 10% CAD risk, prevention of CAD or CRC with 10 year life expectancy
Breast Cancer Screening
USPSTF age 50-74, ACS age 40, Mammogram every 2 years
Cervical Cancer Screening
21-65 every 3 years, 30-65 cytology plus HPV every 5 years, Stop after age 65, stop after hysterectomy
Colorectal Cancer (CRC) Screening
Begin at age 50 – 75, 76-85 no evidence for routine screening but may be considered, 85 and older no recommended
Lung Cancer Screening
Age 55-80, history of 30 pack year or quit less than 15 years ago, stop after smoking has ceased over 15 years
Prostate Cancer Screening
Age 50, every other year with normal PSA, case by case
Ovarian Cancer Screening
Not recommended, if high risk BRCA I or BRCA II refer to specialist or genetics
Skin Cancer Screening
Age 10-24 with fair skin, education avoid sun exposure 1000-1600, SPF 15, protective clothing, wide-brim hats
Lipid screening
9-hour fast with full lipid panel, low-mod statin for (1. 40-74 2. One or more CVD risk factor (HLD, DM, Smoker, HTN, 3. 10 year risk of CVD event. 76 and older w/o h/o MI or CVA shows no evidence to support
AAA Screening
Men 65-75 who have ever smoked one time screening with US
