SERVICE COAT
worn neat, clean, pressed and contour with
the body without pulling in the back and at the waist, sleeves approximately a quarter
inch from the heel of the thumb.
RANK
worn halfway up the seam of the lapels, resting on but
not overlapping the seam, parallel with the deck.
TROUSERS
trim fitted with no bunching at waist or bagging at
seat, bottom front of the pant leg resting on the shoes with a slight break in the crease;
approximately seven-eighths of an inch longer in the back. Male’s button on the left, back
pocket must be buttoned.
BERET
worn straight across the forehead, one inch above
eyebrows with the rank insignia or hap arnold emblem aligned above left eye
RIBBONS
worn centered on the left pocket, resting but not
overlapping the pocket edge.
BELT
worn with trousers with belt loops and silver tip end of
the belt extends beyond the buckle; Facing wearer’s right for females and facing wearer’s
left for males.
TIE TAB
worn around the neck of the light blue blouse, a half
inch below the collar.
