contraindications to rotavirus vaccine

A
  1. allergic reaction
  2. previous intussception or risk of developing intussception (i.e unrepaired meckle or other lead point)
  3. immunocompromised and contraindicated to receive live vaccines

NB having an immunocompromised person in the house is not a contrainidcation for rotavirus vaccines (except mom on biologics because baby might not have the antibodies)
