Who was she
A polish socialist who became naturalised to Germany and was a key figure in radical left-wing politics, she made a contribution to to fundamentalist socialism that drifted from Mark and Lenin who was her contemporary. She was tortured and murdered by right-wing paramilitaries in January 2019.

She did contest elections as part of the German Communist Party seeing this as a step towards revolution as it gave her chance to make the case to the workers.
