The guest has settled his or her account, returned the room keys and left the hotel
What does COMPLIMENTARY mean in a hotel context?
The room is occupied, but the guest is assessed no charge for its use
What does DOUBLE LOCK refer to?
Guest has put a double lock in room
What is indicated by DID NOT CHECKOUT?
The guest made arrangements to settle his or her bills but has left without informing the front desk
What does DO NOT DISTURB mean?
The guest requested not to be disturbed
What does DUE OUT signify?
The room is expected to become vacant after the following day’s checkout time
What is EARLY CHECK-IN?
Guests have requested for an early check-in and are being allowed to check in earlier than the normal check-in time
What does HEAVY LUGGAGE indicate?
Guests have heavy or more luggage than usual
What does HOUSE USE refer to?
Room is used by the hotel staff or someone staying from the management team
What does HOUSE USE CLEAN mean?
The room, occupied by a non-paying person, is already clean
What does HOUSE USE DIRTY indicate?
The room is occupied by a non-paying person and is not yet clean
