Romeo is upset because he is in love with Rosaline and she does not love him back.

Capulet sends out a servant with a guest list on the streets of Verona. The servant cannot read and asks Romeo for help reading the guest list. Romeo see his Rosaline’s name on the list and decides to go to the party.
