Noun. The giver of light. Light in romeo’s life. Dark and light imagery again.
Bright angel
Angelic to him. Metaphor. Light imagery. Thinks she is perfect and special. Religious imagery. He idolises her. Celestial image implies how he elevates her to a heavenly esteem. Links to fatalism of their soon to be demise to a place such as heaven. Further emphasizes his hyperbolised display of love in his speech.
Crow and dove
In this scene there is a juxtaposition between Rosaline being a crow and juliet a dove. Doves are pure and are a symbol of peace.

Fortune’s fool
Romeo says o i am fortunes fool. Idiot. Doesn’t learn from it tho. He feels like he has been played by fate. There is a repetition of o and this shows he is confused, sad and sorry for himself. Impulsive and hamartia. Victim of fate. Fatal flaw. Recklessness and rash.
Act 5
He buys poison to go to her tomb and end his life. Once again rash and spontaneous as he could’ve waited and got the friars letter about the plan. Impatient. Kills Paris. Hasn’t learned from previous mistakes. Didn’t even know it was Paris until he killed him. Then he goes inside tomb then kills himself. He says thus with a kiss i die. Tragedy. Later juliet sees him dead and kills herself.
